Wareham – Benjamin S. Levandowski, age 69 of New Bedford, passed away on Wednesday January 13, 2016 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation. Born in Manhattan, NY, Benjamin lived the last 44 years of his life in this area and was the son of the late Dolores (Crutch) and Benjamin S. Levandowski.
He worked as an Inspector for Titleist for many years until his retirement.
QM3 Benjamin S. Levandowski served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal.
He is survived by 2 sons: Adam Levandowski of West Wareham and Trent Roderick of New Bedford; siblings: Robert F. Levandowski of Daytona Beach, Fla, Judy Rose Edwards of Delano, Fla and Rita Louise Davidson of Chicago, IL; step-father, Robert “Bob” Davis of Daytona Beach, Fla; as well as several grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.
Mr. Levandowski was cremated. Relatives and friends are invited to a service on Friday, January 29 at 12:45 P.M. in Massachusetts National Cemetery. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, MA.
