Armando C. Amarante

New Bedford – Armando C. Amarante, age 90, passed away on Thursday January 21, 2016 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility.

He was the beloved son of the late Leonor Maria (Bettencourt) and Cosme B. Amarante.

Born in St. George, Azores, Portugal, Armando worked as a Bookkeeper for many years until his retirement.

He is survived by a niece, Dana A. Cruz of North Dartmouth, as well as 2 nephews, Michael Amarante of Fairhaven and Cory Amarante of Waltham.

Armando will be cremated and services are omitted. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, MA.
