Alice (Barros) Cordeiro

Dartmouth – Alice Cordeiro, age 90, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at her home in Dartmouth. She was the beloved widow of Joseph M. Cordeiro and the daughter of the late Mary (Pacheco) and John A. Barros.
Mrs. Cordeiro was a lifelong resident of this area and worked at Bishop Stang High School as a Cafeteria Worker for several years until her retirement.
Her family includes 2 children: Kathleen McNeil and Barbara Sanford; as well as 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and 1 nephew.
Mrs. Cordeiro will be buried on Wednesday in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 11:00 A.M. Visitation and flowers are omitted. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, MA.
