Geraldine M. Correia

Fall River – Geraldine M. Correia, age 73, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after an unexpected accident. She was the loving wife of Ronald G. Correia of N. Dartmouth and the daughter of the late Rose (Mello) Correia and Manuel Tavares. Geraldine was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of her life. She worked as a Clerk at New Bedford High School until her retirement.

She is survived by her husband, 2 daughters: Karen Souza, wife of Kevin of New Bedford and Kimberly Correia of N. Dartmouth, her son the late Gary Ronald Correia, 4 grandchildren: Jared Fritze, Ariana Souza, Aiden Souza and Ashton Souza, 2 nephews and a niece and sister of the late Manuel Tavares.
Mrs. Correia’s funeral will be Private at the request of her family. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, MA.
