Doris M. Pacheco

New Bedford – Doris M. (Costello) Pacheco, age 89, passed away on Monday July 27, 2015 at New Bedford Health Care Center. She was the widow of Gilbert Pacheco and daughter of the late Elizabeth (Willis) and James Costello.
Born in New Bedford, Mrs. Pacheco worked as a Bookkeeper at Pacheco’s Hardware for many years.
Her family includes her daughters: Janet Santos and her husband Robert of Fairhaven, Jill Arpa and her husband Michael of New Bedford, grandchildren Lynn Santos Thorn and her husband, Benjamin of Salem, Ma, Michael Arpa, Jr. and Kevin Arpa, both of New Bedford. Doris was the sister of the late, Gladys E. Santos and Frederick W. Costello.

Visiting hours will be Thursday evening from 4 – 7 P.M. Her funeral will begin in the funeral home on Friday at 8:30 with a church service to take place at St. Martin's Episcopal Church at 9:30 A.M. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, MA.
