Boston – Donald K. Mosher, age 68 of Acushnet, passed away on Saturday July 25, 2015 at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was the loving husband of Sandra L. (Freitas) Mosher and son of the late Barbara Mosher Gay Genthner and the late Milton Homer Mosher.
A lifelong resident of this area, Mr. Mosher was an Automotive Instructor at Old Colony Vocational High School. After retiring from teaching, he worked for Pelletier Auto Air. Donald was an avid fan of NASCAR and he loved Disney. But most of all, Donald loved his family. He was an extremely proud grandfather as well as a loving husband and father.
His family includes his wife, Sandra L. Mosher, of Acushnet; 3 daughters: Tracy Guerreiro and her husband, Edward of New Bedford, Kristine Baker and her husband, Gene, of Freetown, and Kelly Duarte and her husband, Chris, of Dartmouth; 7 grandchildren: Corbin, Kyle, Ryan, Sarah, Seth, Kaitlyn and Nathan; a brother, Robert Mosher of Florida, and a niece, Wendy Messalina of Lakeville.
Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 – 8 P.M. His funeral will begin on Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. in the funeral home with a Religious Service to start at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, MA.
