George Cabral

New Bedford - George Cabral 82 of New Bedford, died after a brief illness Thursday April 22, 2005 at St Lukes Hospital peacefully surrounded by his family before entering the Kingdom of Heavon . Survivors include a son Richard Cabral husband of Sharon of New Bedford, 3 Daughters Darleen wife of Patrick Sullivan of Rochester, Kathleen wife of Russell Fournier of Virginia, and Maureen wife of Richard Galovoti of New Bedford.His former loving wife of 30 Yrs Claire Oliveira. 2 sisters Mary Martin of Pembroke Ma., and Sophie Vieira of Kingston Ma. 24 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grand and several nieces & nephews..

Mr. Cabral was born in New Bedford ma. and lived in this area all his life, He was the son of the late Maria (Libana) and Jose Cabral.He was achimney Claener and also a Master Carpenter. Mr Cabral was a musician and vocalist in many area bands. He was deeply loved by his children and grandchildren and he deeply loved them.

His Funeral mass will be on Tuesday April 26, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. @ St Rose of Lima Church. Visiting Hours will be on Monday April 25, 2005 from 4-8 P.M. Arrangements are by Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford, MA.
