Gilbert S. Cabral

Dartmouth - Gilbert S. Cabral, died Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Brandon Woods. He was the husband of the late Helen (Souza) Cabral, and son of the late Helen Medeiros and John Cabral. He was Born in New Bedford. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Anne Rod of New Bedford and Cecilia Ridings of Athens, Maine; 8 Grandchildren: Steven, Gilbert and Stacey Rod all of New Bedford, Pamela Haller of Concord, Ma, Donald Simpkin of Dartmouth, David Simpkin of New Bedford, Kevin Simpkin of New Bedford, and Robin Simpkin of Maine, Several Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews and 1 Brother in law Milton Souza of Bartow Fla.

Mr. Cabral was a Laborer for the Dept of Public Works, He was a member of the American Portuguese War Veterans, He also Served in WWII in the U.S.Army.

Visiting Hours will be Friday April 1, 2005 from 4 - 8 P.M., at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Funeral Services will be at 9:30 A.M. officiated by Pastor Robert Langevin . Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery.
