Earl E. Delacy

p>New Bedford-Earl E. deLacy passed away March 17, 2005 at the Sacred Heart Nursing Home. He was the Husband of Margaret M.(Naegele) deLacy of New Bedford, and Father of Joyce L. Calnen , Earl W. deLacy and the late Richard N. deLacy, Beloved Grandfather of Amy Santos, Matthew Calnen, Christopher deLacy, Elizabeth deLacy Almeida,and Mary, and Erin deLacy Brother of Olive Portway and Ernest deLacy.

Mr. deLacy was the son of the late Ernest and Alice (Sharples) deLacy.

Mr. deLacy was formely employed at J.C.Rhodes as a shipper He graduated from New Bedford High School Class of 1941. He was a Member of the Washington Club and was inducted into the Hall of Fame Member of the South End Youth Athletic Association. He was founder of the instructional League of the South End Youth Athletic Association.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday March 22, 2005 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church at 10 A.M. Visiting hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 PM at The Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St.
