Manuel P. Vieira, Jr.

Dartmouth – Manuel Vieira, Jr. age 75 of New Bedford, passed away on Monday April 6, 2015 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth. He was the son of the late Albina (Rosarias) and Manuel Vieira.
Manuel was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of his life. He was the proprietor of a commercial cleaning company until his retirement. Manuel was a caring and giving man who loved to cook for his loved ones and neighbors.
His family includes his 6 siblings: Noah Vieira of Wilimantic, CT, the late Patricia (Vieira) Street, the late Mary Vieira, Dorothy Vieira, Virginia Ramos of South Dartmouth, and Vicky Roy of CT. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In accordance with his wishes Manuel was cremated. A memorial service with his ashes present will take place in the funeral home on Saturday, April 18 from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M.. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
