Maria J. Lemos

Maria J. Lemos, age 66, longtime resident of New Bedford born in São Miguel, Azores passed away at home on Wednesday February 11th. She was the wife of Manuel J. Lemos and the mother of 3 daughters: Maria Le Croy, Nellie Maciel and Theresa Costa; 3 sons: Rui Lemos, Telmo Lemos, and Eddie Jose Lemos. She is also the grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In accordance with her wishes Maria will be cremated. A service with her cremains present will take place Sunday, March 1 in the funeral home from 2 - 4 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Southcoast Center for Cancer Care “Patient Caregiver Assistance Fund Southcoast Health Philanthropy” 101 Page St., New Bedford, MA 02740.
