Alice Costa

Dartmouth – Alice Costa, age 91 of New Bedford, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth. She was the widow of Manuel Costa and the daughter of Virginia (Linhares) and Francisco Oliveira Sylvia.
Alice was a lifelong resident of this area and worked as a machine operator at Cornell Dubilier until her retirement.
Her family includes: a daughter, Sandra Lee Olejarz of New Bedford; grandson, Jason Olejarz; siblings: Aldina Niedzwiedz of Dartmouth, the late Helen Linhares, the late Dorothy Alegre and the late Josephine Alves; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. with a Religious Service to begin at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Arrangements are placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, Ma.
