Etelvina Viveiros

New Bedford – Etelvina Viveiros, age 94, passed away on February 4, 2015 at her home in New Bedford. She was the widow of Louis Viveiros and the daughter of Apolina (Silva) and Luis Nunes Morgardo.
Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Mrs. Viveiros moved to this country 68 years ago and worked as a Stitcher for many years until her retirement.
Her family includes 4 children: John Viveiros and his wife, Deborah, of New Bedford, Dolira De Viveiros and her husband, Manuel, of New Bedford, Edward Viveiros and his wife, Catherine, of Dartmouth, and Ernest Viveiros of Columbus, Ohio; as well as 8 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceased by her siblings: Maria Garcia, Laurinda Resendes and Manuel Morgardo.
Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Friday morning from 8:00 – 10:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial in Rural Cemetery. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford, Ma 02740
