New Bedford – Julia V. Francisco died Tuesday December 28, 2004, at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arsenio Francisco. She was the mother of Jane E. Walcott, and her finance Armand Choquette of Dartmouth. She was the grandmother of James E. Walcott of Melbourne, FL. She was the sister of the late Manuel Verissimo.
Mrs. Francisco was the daughter of the late Manuel and Emilia (Pereira) Verissimo. She was employed at Good Year Tire and Rubber as a tire builder until her retirement. After her retirement she worked at the Casa Da Saudade and the Howland-Green Libraries. She loved to do crafts.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday December 30th at 9 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Rivet St. New Bedford. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Family and friends are invited. Visiting hours will be from 4-7 P.M., on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at Perry Funeral Home.
