Antone L. Oliveira

New Bedford – Antone L. Oliveira, age 92 of Dartmouth, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at The Oaks. He was the longtime companion of Joan H. Rebello and the son of Beatriz (Cabral) and Abel Oliveira.
Mr. Oliveira was a lifelong resident of this area and worked as an Engineer at Cornell Dubilier until his retirement.
Tec 5 Antone L. Oliveira proudly served our country in the United States Army during WWII.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Joan H. Rebello, of Dartmouth; 2 stepchildren: Lori Perry of Brockton and James Perry of New Bedford; 2 nieces: Joanne Medeiros and Leslie, as well as his close friend, Joseph Rebello of New Bedford and several great nieces and great nephews.
Antone was predeceased by his brother, Joseph L. Oliveira.
His funeral will be Wednesday beginning in the funeral home at 10:00 A.M. with a Religious Service at 11:00 A.M. Burial with full military honors will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will take place in the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 P.M. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, Ma.
