Gloria O. Souza

New Bedford – Gloria O. Souza, age 76 of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015 at her home. She was the widow of Joseph Souza and the daughter of Elvina (Larveraira) and Anthony Caron.
Mrs. Souza was born in New Bedford, was a lifelong resident of this area and worked as a Caterer at Charlie’s Catering.
Her family includes her 3 children: Joseph Souza, Jr., and his wife, Laurie, of New Bedford, William A. Souza of New Bedford and the late Bruce C. Souza; 5 grandchildren: Tiffany, James, Kristine, Jessica and Jay; 4 great grandchildren: Breyer, Jasmine, Oliver and Emilia; as well as several siblings, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Sunday from 4 – 6 P.M. Her burial will take place on Monday at 11:00 A.M. in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, Ma.
