Benny Rowley

Providence – Benny R. Rowley, age 81 of Dartmouth, passed away on Sunday December 28, 2014 at the Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island. He was the widower of Mary S. (De Eppolito) Rowley and the son of Bertha (Hill) and Albert Rowley.
Benny was born in Topeka, Kansas and, after moving to this area, worked as a Farmer and in HVAC for Brown University.
Mr. Rowley proudly served our country in the United States Navy.
His family includes his 2 children: Amanda Myrick Diaz and her husband, Hector, and Scott Jaquith, both of Dartmouth; 2 granddaughters: Stacey Parenteau of Providence and Kimberly Vastano of Dartmouth; 2 great grandchildren: Briana Parenteau and Aaron Parenteau; 1 great great granddaughter, Alyiah Marcouillier, step-daughter, Paula Vastano, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rowley will be cremated. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, February 28 from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. Burial of his cremains in Massachusetts National Cemetery will take place at a later date. Arrangements placed in care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street in New Bedford, MA.
