Evelyn J. Rapoza

Dartmouth – Evelyn, age 64 of New Bedford, passed away on, December 20, 2014 at home with her family at her side. She was the beloved wife of Paul R. Rapoza and the daughter of Miriam Lenoci (Norcross) and the late Everett C. Heath. Mrs. Rapoza was born in Brockton and worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Post Office until her retirement and continued to work as a Floral Designer for Hawthorne florist.
She is survived by her son: Tony Heath husband of Michelle; Her 3 step children: Paula Baptista, Heidi Boswell wife of Michael and Jamie Rapoza husband of Rachel; 5 Grandchildren: Alex, Bryce, Gillian, Ella and Samuel;3 Brothers Richard, Jimmy and Timmy Heath.
In accordance with her wishes Mrs. Rapoza will be cremated. She will be having a memorial service on Saturday Jan 3rd at 11 am. East Bridgewater Methodist Church 54 North Central St. East Bridgewater Ma. In Lieu of flowers a donation in her name can be made to Southcoast VNA 101 Page St. New Bedford, Ma 02740 or New Bedford Relay for life- check can be made payable to American Cancer Society Team Name Brat Pack Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
