Clifford Desouza

Clifford DeSouza – died December 15, 2004 at home. He was the husband of Jill (Fernandes) DeSouza. He was the father of Michael DeSouza of Mattapoisett, and James DeSouza of New Bedford. He was the brother of the late Ralph DeSouza.

Mr. DeSouza was the son of the late Manuel and Ada (Lancaster) DeSouza. He lived in this area most of his life. He was a Salesman for a Shoe Company, he also owned The Yankee Boot Shop in Fairhaven, until his retirement. He was a Private First Class in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was an avid billiards player, and was formerly involved with the Whaler Drum & Bugle Corp.
