Mary V. Braga

Rhode Island – Mary V. Braga, age 92 of Dartmouth, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at The Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Rhode Island. She was the widow of Antone Braga and the daughter of Mary (Pacheco) and Serafim Vieira.
Mrs. Braga was born in Acushnet, spent all of her time in this area and worked for many years as a Line worker for Acushnet Process until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Judith Oliver and her husband, Raymond of Dartmouth, 3 grandchildren: Raymond A. Oliver and his wife, Michelle, Daniel Oliver, and Crystal Paiva and her husband, John; siblings: Charles Vieira of Portsmouth, RI, Emily Tavares of Tennessee, Isabelle Cabral and Flora Roque, both of Dartmouth; as well as 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her siblings: Manuel, Serafim, Joseph, Alfred, Antone and Leonard Vieira, Evelyn Chantre, Anna Sylvia and Dorothy Furtado.
Private funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, Ma.
