Maria Natalia Dias

Maria Natalia Dias, age 90 of New Bedford, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2014 at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center in Fall River. She was the loving wife of the late Manuel Dias and the daughter of the late Ermelinda (Gomes) and Jose daCosta. She was born in Sao Miguel, Açores, and moved to this country in 1977.
She is survived by her 2 daughters: Donaria Oliveira and her husband Alfredo, Georgina Dias Carreiro and her husband Manuel of Somerset, her son, Jose Manuel Dias of Montreal, Canada as well as 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Dias will take place in the funeral home on Wednesday, October 29 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Her funeral will be Thursday at the Funeral Home at 9:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery.
