Alice C. (Correia) Jason

New Bedford-Alice C.(Correia) Jason died November 18, 2004 at The New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home. She was the beloved wife of Frank Jason Jr. She was the sister of Joseph A. Correia Jr. of South Dartmouth, and Hilda Pedro of New Bedford. She was the sister of the late Manuel “Quarter” Correia and Mercedes Brown. She was also survived by several nieces, and nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, and many Godchildren.

Mrs. Jason was the daughter of the late Joseph and Valentina (Froes) Correia. She worked at the Bullard Estate as domestic help until her retirement. She was the recipient of the Marian Medal for St. John the Baptist Church. She loved devoting her time and energy to help out her church. She was an avid animal lover. She raised Cocker Spaniels and could be seen many a days walking her dogs on Rockdale Ave.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday November 20, 2004 at St. John the Baptist Church at 10 A.M. Visiting hours will be Friday November 19, 2004 from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St.
