Jeannette Robak

Jeannette Robak, age 90 of Dartmouth, passed away, peacefully, at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth on July 5, 2014. She was the loving wife of the late Edward F. Robak. Mrs. Robak was born in New Bedford, the daughter of Anne Marie (Belanger) and Edward Cote and moved to Dartmouth in 1952 where she lived the rest of her life.
Jeannette was a devoted communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Dartmouth. She enjoyed gardening with her husband Edward, canning vegetables, making grape juice and fishing. She was also a dedicated mother to her 2 daughters.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Barbara A. Smith of Prospect, CT and Theresa M. Houlihan and her husband, Tom, of Charlotte, MI; 2 siblings: Loretta Thomas of Hemet, Ca and Irene Bouchard of Acushnet, Ma; 4 grandchildren: Kim, Aaron, Kelly and PJ; as well as 4 great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be Tuesday morning beginning in the funeral home at 7:45 A.M. and continuing with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Dartmouth at 9:00 A.M. Burial will follow in South Dartmouth Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are omitted. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
