George M. Demello

Dartmouth – George M. DeMello, age 33 of Dartmouth, died, unexpectedly at his home on Monday, June 30, 2014. He was the son of the late Doreen Silva and the late George DeMello.
Mr. DeMello was employed by K.B. Surfaces in Rhode Island. He cherished the time he was able to spend with his children.
He is survived by 2 children: Alyssa M. DeMello and Mason J. DeMello, both of Dartmouth; 2 brothers: Shawn Silva and Jason DeMello, both of New Bedford; his companion, Amanda Redanz of Dartmouth as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place in the funeral home on Tuesday July 8 from 8:00 – 9:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family will be greatly appreciated.
