Rosalie Gomes

New Bedford – Rosalie Gomes, age 83 of New Bedford, passed away, peacefully, on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Savoy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was the loving wife of 21 years to Eugene Gomes of New Bedford.
Mrs. Gomes was born in this area, where spent all of her life, and worked in the Fish Cutting industry for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene, of New Bedford; a daughter, Carol, of Franklin, Pennsylvania, and a brother, Richard Theodore, of Dennisport, Ma.
Her burial will take place Friday, May 30, in Rural Cemetery at 9:00 A.M. Those who would like to attend are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
