Miquelina Pereira

Miquelina Pereira, 88, widow of Luiz Pereira, passed away, on May 10, 2014 after a brief illness. She's survived by her son Luis Pereira and his wife, Maria C. Pereira and, also, by her son Rui Pereira and her granddaughter, Heidi Pereira. She is also survived by a brother, Antonio Pereira, who resides in Portugal, several nephews and nieces, as well as long time and short time friends.
Born in Figueira da Foz, Portugal, she emigrated to Gloucester, Ma. in 1951 and had been a decades long resident of the New Bedford area.

She was a long time member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, at 413 Rockdale Avenue and enjoyed Bible study at the church, and at her home.

A Memorial for Miquelina will be held at The Seventh Day Adventist Church at 413 Rockdale Avenue in New Bedford, at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 19th. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
