Noemis Martinez

Boston – Noemis Martinez, 54 of New Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She was the loving daughter of Milton Henriquez and Leonora Maysoynet. She was born in the Bronx, NY and moved to this area in 1974 where she resided the rest of her life.
Survivors include her parents, Leonora and Milton, her children: Crucita Martinez of Long Island, NY, Loenorita Martinez of New Bedford, Ismael Martinez Jr. of Fall River, and Anatacia Morales, Jeannie Irizarry, Don Muniz, Pedro Henriquez Muniz all of New Bedford. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 3 sisters, 4 brothers and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be Friday, May 2nd at Perry Funeral Home; 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, with religious services beginning at 12:00 P.M (Noon). Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday May 1st from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
