Christopher Allen Bentley Souza

New Bedford – Christopher Allen Bentley Souza, age 23 of New Bedford, died, unexpectedly, on April 21, 2014 at his home in New Bedford. He was the loving son of Sherri Bentley and Christopher J. Souza. He was born in New Bedford, spent all of his life here and worked as a Manager at D’Angelo’s.
His family includes his parents, Sherri and Christopher, of New Bedford; daughter, Hailey Marie Bentley; stepmother, Kelly Souza; siblings: Matthew Souza, Miranda Souza, Devon Castello, Trevor Castello and Seth Castello; stepfather, James Castello; maternal grandparents: Sandra and Wayne Bentley; paternal grandparents: Ethel Souza and the late Antone Souza, Jr.; godparents: Shawnee Balard and Mark Collins; his girlfriend, Caylie Martin of Fairhaven as well as several cousins, aunts and uncles.
There will be visiting hours for Christopher in the funeral home on Sunday, April 27 from 2 – 6 P.M. A Religious Service will be held during the visitation. Cremation will follow. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations can be made on Christopher's behalf to his daughter, Hailey Marie Bentley. At the request of Christopher's parents all checks should be made out to : Hailey Marie Bentley, as a trust for her is being set up and requires her to be the recipient of any funds. Arrangements have been placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
