Wilfred Guerra

New Bedford – Wilfred Guerra, 35 of New Bedford died April 17, 2014 at home after a long illness.
He was the son of Mariam Pellot of New Bedford and the late Luis Guerra
Wilfred was young at heart and loved life. His smile and sense of humor touched anyone he met. He will be greatly missed.
Mr. Guerra leaves behind his wife, Allison Cabral Guerra of New Bedford. He was the father of Chaysen Bryce Cabral, Travon Alexander Howard, and Jadahcis Seiarah Howard all of New Bedford. Wilfred also proudly raised Diego, Kathy, Yashira, and Jonathan Perez all of New Bedford.
Wilfred was the proud Godfather of Julian Quinonez Lewis of New Bedford.
He is also survived by his brother and best friend Luis Anthony Guerra of New Bedford.
Wilfred was predeceased by his aunt Nancy Ferrer, whom raised him in life. He is also survived by many friends and family.
Visiting hours are Thursday April 24 from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. at The Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford with a service at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
