New Bedford—Rene Guzman died October 19, 2004 at St Lukes Hospital in New Bedford. He was the Husband of Madelin (Ramos) Guzman. He is Survuved by His Wife , 1 Son Jonathan Rene Guzman.3 Brothers Pablo Guzman of New Bedford, Jose A. Guzman of New Bedford, and Angel E. Martorao Jr. of New Bedford, 1 Sister Carmen Santiago of New Bedford.His Stepfather Angel E. Martorao Sr. of Puerto Rico, He is survived by several nieces and nephews., several cousins

Mr. Guzman was born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of Carmen (Ilarraza) Martorao of New Bedford and the late Pedro Guzman. He was a fork lift operator for Starr Distributors.Rene was foremost an extremely devoted caring and unselfish son , brother, father, husband, and friend. He had a passion for life , his smile brightens any gray days he encountered, most important hos faith in the Lord, his courage and love for his Family will always be cherished.

Visiting Hours will be Thursday 6-9 P.M.. Services will be Friday October 22, 2004 at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery.
