Angelo Valadao

New Bedford – Angelo Valdao, age 65, passed away on February 8, 2014 at his home in New Bedford.

He was born in Corvo, Açores, the son of Balbina (Rego) and Angelo Valadao Rego.

He moved to this country in 1984 and worked as a Machine Operator at NU Tex.

His surviving family includes his 3 children: Angela Carvalho and her husband, Carlos, of New Bedford, Gabriel Valadao of Toronto, Canada and Ruben Valadao and his wife, Sarah, of Swansea; 3 grandchildren: Michael Carvalho, Natasha Carvalho and Ella Valadao; 1 brother, Jose Valadao from Lisbon, Portugal as well as one niece and one nephew.

A Funeral Mass with his cremated remains present will take place Thursday at 10:30 A.M at Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to meet directly at church. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
