John Mcnulty, Jr.

Westport – John McNulty, Jr. age 90, passed away peacefully on Monday November 18, 2013 at his daughter’s home in Westport. He was the loving husband of the late Louise Quegan and the son of Mary (Ainsworth) and John McNulty. John was born in Nelson, Lancaster, England, but lived most of his life in this area. He was employed as a Master Electrician for Mass Electric Construction Co. for many years until his retirement. He was a proud Mason and a member of the Quittacus Masonic Lodge Ancient Free and Accepted Masons as well as a member of the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). Mr. McNulty was an avid bowler on the green and enjoyed reading.
His family includes his daughter, Kathleen Campbell and her husband, James, of Westport; 2 grandchildren: David Amaral of New Bedford and Laurie Amaral of Westport; 2 great grandchildren: Kelsea Pereira and Kevin McNulty-Amaral. John is predeceased by his brother Albert McNulty.
Mr. McNulty’s Funeral will take place Saturday, November 23 beginning at 8:00 A.M. at PERRY FUNERAL HOME, 111 Dartmouth St., with a Service to begin at 8:45 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will take place in the funeral home Friday evening from 6 – 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend.
