Francisca J. (Darosa) Dobem

New Bedford - Francisca J. (daRosa) doBem, 88, died on Thursday,September 23, 2004, at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford MA. She was the wife of the late Jaime Francisco doBem. Mrs. doBem was the mother of Artur husband of Deolinda doBem, Jaime husband of Honoria doBem both of New Bedford, MA., Manuel husband of Teresinha doBem, Joaquim husband of Glorinda doBem of Dartmouth MA., Jose husband of Manuela doBem of Dartmouth MA, and Maria Bettencourt of California. She was the sister of Louisa Sequeira and Joaquim daRosa of New Bedford MA., Jose daRosa of Canada, and the late Maria Rose Thomas, Anna Costa, Maria daRosa Azevedo and Manuel Rose. She had 12 grandchildren and 18 greatgrandchildren. Also several nieces and newphews.

Mrs. daBem was born in St. George, Azores and lived in this area since 1968. She was the daugther of the late Manuel Francisco and Maria Clara (Silveira) deRosa.

Her funeral will be Monday, September 27, 2004, from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rivet St. New Bedford, MA. Visiting hours will be Sunday, September 26, 2004 from 5 – 9 P.M. at the funeral home.
