Jenuina Pinheiro

Jenuina Pinheiro, of New Bedford, age 83, died on Wednesday October 30, 2013 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth. She was the loving wife of the late Manuel C. Pinheiro. Jenuina was born in Faial, Açores, the daughter of Teodora (Carreiro) and Manuel Vicente Medeiros. She came to this country in 1971 and worked as a Machine Operator in a local clothing factory until her retirement. Mrs. Pinheiro loved cooking dinner for her loving family.
Her family includes her 2 sons: Jose Pinheiro and his wife, Ivone, of New Bedford, and Carlos Pinheiro and his wife Linda of Somerset; 4 granddaughters: Rebecca Pinheiro, Natasha Pinheiro, Sanya Lima and Melissa Schlitzer; a great granddaughter, Alisia Lima; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Jenuina’s funeral will take place Saturday, November 2 at PERRY FUNERAL HOME, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, with visiting hours in the funeral home from 8:30 A.M. – 9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Rural Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
