Rosemary Gonsalves

New Bedford - Rosemary Gonsalves, age 65, died on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Gonsalves was born in Acushnet, MA, a daughter of the late Emily (Ramos) Pina and August Pina.
Her family includes her son, Corey Pina and his fiancée Nicole Smith, son, Tobey Gonsalves, daughter, Nikia Gonsalves and her fiancée Michael Howard, daughter, Ashley Gonsalves, son, Jordan Gonsalves, daughter, Elizabeth Gonsalves and son, Brandon Gonsalves, all of New Bedford; 4 sisters: Betty Ann Rogers wife of James, Emily Lima, Valerie Pina and Deitra Del La Cruz, all of New Bedford; she was also sister of the late Denise Silva and August Pina Jr.; as well as having 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gonsalves’s Visiting Hours will take place at the Perry Funeral Home on Tuesday Evening, October 15 from 6 - 9 P.M. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers donations to family will be greatly appreciated. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
