Ernest J. Coite

Fall River- Ernest J. Coite died September 10, 2004 at St. Anne’s Hospital. He was the husband of Lydia (Sousa) Coite of Dartmouth. He was the loved father of Ernest J. Coite and his wife Diane of Somerset, MA. He was the brother of the late Hilda Lima. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Coite was the son of the late Braz and Maria (Medeiros) Coite. He was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all his life.

Mr. Coite worked at the Hathaway Mill until his retirement at age 65.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday September 14,2004 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Mary’s Church South Dartmouth, MA. His visiting hours will be Monday September 13, 2004 from 4-8 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford.
