New Bedford – Deborah Dias, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at her home. She was born in New Bedford, the daughter of Natalie (Sylvia) Cunha and the late Allen St. Clair and the step-daughter of Richard Cunha Sr. Deborah lived in this area as well as in the Cape Cod area all her life. She worked as a Human Rights officer for many years.
Her survivors include her daughter, Michele Rapoza of New Bedford; 4 grandchildren: Amy White, Matthew Angelo, Elijah Rapoza and Caleb Rapoza, all of New Bedford; siblings: Kenneth St. Clair, Richard Cunha and Annette Carreiro, all of New Bedford and Charles St.Clair of Dartmouth; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dias’ Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 14th at 6:00 P.M. at the Clifford Chapel Function Hall 3670 Acushnet Ave, New Bedford, MA. Relatives and friends are invited. In accordance with her wishes, Deborah will be cremated.
