Paulo Rosonina

New Bedford – Paulo Rosonina, age 74, passed away on Fiday, August 2, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was born in St Michael, Açores, a son of the late Germana (Rita) and Joao Rosonina. He moved to this country 1967 and worked as a machine operator for Nu-Techs.
His survivors include his daughters: Paula Chambers of Ohio and Susie Rosonina of New Bedford; 3 grandchildren: Tayler and Tyler Medeiros of New Bedford and Alyssia Chambers of Ohio; 5 siblings: Joao, Jeremias, Francisco, Esmeria Rosonina and Gloria Emken all of New Bedford, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Paulo was predeceased by his siblings Jose, Manuel, Antonio and Deodato Rosonina
Mr. Rosonina’s funeral will be Tuesday, August 6 at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, beginning at 9:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will take place in the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 – 9 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
