Alice Neves

Lakeville - Alice Neves, of North Dartmouth, age 95, died on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the home of her niece, Janet, in Lakeville. She was the beloved widow of Norman B. Neves. She was born in New Bedford, the daughter of Andrina (Pimental) Figueiredo and John Medeiros. She has lived in this area all of her life and was a former Supervisor at Colonial Textile. Alice was a Communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church in North Dartmouth.
Her family includes her niece, Janet Haggerty and her husband Edward, of Lakeville, 2 nephews: Kenneth Kenyon and his companion Kim Macey and Mark Perry, both of New Bedford; 2 great-nieces: Kelly Haggerty and Bridget Haggerty, and a great-nephew Brendan Haggerty; great-great nieces and nephews: Emily and Michael DeSouza and Edward and Maya Niesig. She is predeceased by her siblings: Josephine Kenyon and Antone Medeiros.
Her funeral will take place at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, on Friday at 12:00 P.M. with a Religious Service to begin at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited.
