Laurenio "Larry" Jose Soares

Laurenio "Larry" Jose Soares died Monday August 9, 2004 at St Lukes Hospital. He was the husaband of Karen (Fairclough) Soares, He was the son of the late Fortunata (Ferreira) and Laurenio Moniz Soares. He was born in St. Michael Azores and has been in New Bedford area since 1966. Survivors include his widow, 2 Sons: Timothy Fairclough and Christopher Soares both of New Bedford. 2 Sisters: Huguette Soares and Diamentina Isabel of both of Westport. 2 Nieces and 1 Nephew.

Mr Soares was a communicant of Mt. Carmel Church, He worked as a Machine Operator at Epec LLC. He was a member of the Northeast Electric Car Racing Club, He loved to spend time with his family.

The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M.. Family and friends are invited. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Friday August 13, 2004.
