Fernando Ourique

New Bedford - Fernando Ourique, age 70 years, died Saturday, April 27th, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Maria M. Ourique of New Bedford. He was born in Terceira, Açores, Portugal a son of the late Maria da Conceicao and Francisco Ourique. He moved to this country in 1969 and worked as a Courier for New Bedford Medical Associates.
His survivors include his wife Maria, his 2 children: Tammy Silveira wife of Steve and Steven Ourique both of New Bedford; grandchildren: Sarah and Madison Silveira, sister in-law; Maria Fatima and godson, Lance Avila.
He is predeceased his brother Francisco Jorge Ourique.
His funeral will be Thursday, May 2nd at 8:00 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday evening from 4-6 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
