Ronald F. Mcnamara

New Bedford – Ronald F. McNamara, age 77 years, died Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a period of declining health. He was son of Ruth (Garland) and Thomas F. McNamara. Ronald was born in Wrentham, Ma and moved to this area in 1950. Prior to his retirement, he was the Proprietor of R + L Enterprises. Mr. McNamara was a graduate of King Phillip High School in Wrentham.
Survivors include his children: Sharon McNamara-Cruz wife of Daniel of Blackstone, MA and Ronald J. McNamara husband of Beatriz of Wintersville, OH; his longtime companion, Agnes Simard of New Bedford; his two siblings: Ruth Stewart and Wendell McNamara, both of Wrentham, Ma; as well as 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Ronald is predeceased by his brother Thomas McNamara.
Mr. McNamara’s funeral will be Monday at 8:45 A.M. at PERRY FUNERAL HOME, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Mary’s Church in Dartmouth. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Mechanic St. in Foxboro, Ma. Visiting hours will take place in the funeral home on Sunday from 5-8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
