Steven L. Winderlick

Steven L. Winderlick, aged 44 years, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. Steven was the son of George and Joyce Winderlick, both of Acushnet. He is survived by his brother Michael Winderlick and wife Noreen, of New Bedford; his sister Rachel Winderlick and her fiancé John Whitehead, of Acushnet; and four nephews. He is the grandson of Frank Canha of Fairhaven and Mary Winderlick of Fairhaven. He is also the grandson of the late Manuel Winderlick and the late Mary Canha and late Manuel Motta.

Steven was born in New Bedford and had lived in this area all of his life. He formerly worked as a Quahogger and cabdriver. Steve loved spending time with his family, especially horseback riding at his parent's stables. He also enjoyed camping and swimming with his nephews. His family remembers him best for his warm heart and generosity.

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated. A small, private family gathering will be held in a few weeks. Arrangements placed in the care of PERRY FUNERAL HOME, 111 Dartmouth St in New Bedford,
