Jose G. Camara

Jose G. Camara, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on March 12th in New Bedford. Mr. Camara was the son of Grizelda Camara and the late Jose Camara. Jose is survived by his mother, a sister Rosa Cambra, his two daughters: Kelly A. Camara and Amanda M. Camara, as well as three grandchildren; Milton Silva Jr., Emily Silva and Lily Ruiz; 2 nephews Kevin Pavao and Brian Charette; his aunt Eduarda Estrela, his uncle Gabriel Estrela and several cousins.
Jose was born in Sao Miguel, Açores and moved to this country in 1974. He was a long time employee of James Perry Landscaping. Jose enjoyed fishing and playing cards with his family.
Mr. Camara’s funeral will be Monday, March 18th at the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 9:45 A.M. with a service to begin at 11:15 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday evening from 4 – 7 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
