Lynne B. Vancour

Lynne B. Vancour, of New Bedford, age 50 years, died Saturday, February 16th at Beth Israel/Deaconess Hospital. She was the loving mother of 3 children: Daniel DePina, Geena Llinas and Gabriel Llinas, Jr., all of New Bedford. She is also survived by one grandson, Mason Llinas, her boyfriend Gabriel Llinas of New Bedford; 3 siblings: Bruce Vancour, Jr., Michael Vancour and Kathleen Vancour all of New Bedford; her caretaker Rose Marie Silva, as well as 7 nieces and 8 nephews.
Lynne was a lifelong resident of New Bedford. She was the daughter of Marlene (Marsh) and Bruce Vancour. Ms. Vancour worked as a laborer for Chamberlain Manufacturing. After her children were born, Lynne devoted her time to being a home maker. She was dedicated to nurturing her children. Her fondest memories were trips and family outings with them as well as making family dinners for them when they were young. Lynne had a passion for food. She enjoyed cooking and decorating her home.
Her funeral will be Wednesday, February 20th at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St in New Bedford with visiting hours from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. A service will begin at 11:15 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Family and friends are welcomed. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family.
