Madalena M. Santos

New Bedford – Madalena M. Santos age 62 years, passed away on Thursday, January 24th at St Lukes Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Alvaro Santos. Mrs. Santos was the loving mother of 2 sons: Jose L. DosSantos of New Bedford and Alvaro A. Santos of South Yarmouth, Ma. She is also survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother all living in Portugal as well as 2 nieces and 3 nephews.

Mrs. Santos was born in Figueira da Foz, Portugal, daughter of the late Maria (DaSilva) and Jose Ramos. She has lived in this area for the past 28 yrs. Madalena had the uncanny ability to put a smile on everybody's face.

Mrs. Santos’ visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 5-7 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford Ma. Her Funeral Mass will take place Wednesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M.. Everyone is invited to meet directly at Church. In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated.
