Olivia Motta

Olivia Motta, age 91 years, passed away on Saturday, January 19th at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth. She was the beloved wife of the late Antone Lewis Motta. Mrs. Motta was the loving mother of 2 daughters: Eileen Martin and Deborah McMahon wife of Michael both of S. Dartmouth. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Kenneth Hickney, James McMahon, Olivia Racette; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Olivia is predeceased by her siblings; Manuel Sylvia, Susan Ramus, Ethel Mathews, Antone Sylvia, J.J. Sylvia, John J. Sylvia and Mary Canha.

Mrs. Motta was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Lucinda (Carvalho) Silva and the late John Silva. She lived in this area all of her life. Mrs. Motta worked as a Roller Cleaner at Fisk Mill.
