Amelia R."Millie" (Simon) Aguiar

Amelia R."Millie" (Simon) Aguiar-82-paased away July 4, 2004 @ Brandon Woods Nursing Home in Dartmouth. She was the widow of Luiz Aguiar, who passed away May of 1986. She was the beloved mother of Robert Aguiar of Dartmouth, Stephen Aguiar of Westmoreland, NH, Mary Jane Roy of Somerset, Donna Johnson of E. Freetown, Nancy Costa of New Bedford and the late David Aguiar. Mrs. Aguiar also had 4 brothers; John Simon (Arizona), George Simon (California), Henry Simon (New Bedford) and Philip Simon (DECEASED); 3 sisters; Anne Simon (Dartmouth), Mary Anne Sasek (New York), Helen Taylor (New Bedford). She had 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Aguiar was born in Dartmouth, MA. daughter of the late John Simon and the late Mary (Peters)Simon. She worked as a File Clerk @ Old Colony Transportation and she also worked as a stitcher @ various local mills.

Her Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2004 @ St. Julie Billiart Church @ 10:00am. Family and friends are invited. Burial will follow @ St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2004 from 2-4 P.M. and 7- 9 P.M.
