William Paul Medeiros

New Bedford – William Paul Medeiros, age 64, died on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Mr. Medeiros was the beloved husband of Joyce (Santos) Medeiros. William is survived by 3 loving children: Jennifer Raposa, wife of Cheyenne; Brian Stone and Barry Stone; as well as 2 grandchildren Jarred Stone and Cody James Raposa. He has 2 siblings: Robert D. Medeiros and his wife Julie and the late Raymond Medeiros. He was also survived by aunts and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

William was born in New Bedford, son of the late Virginia (Frias) and the late William Daniel Medeiros. He worked as a Machine Operator at Morse Cutting Tools and also worked at United Liquors. William was a member of the New England Teamsters and Trucking Industry. William was loved by all and will be sadly missed.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated. Services will take place Thursday, with his cremains present, at St. Julie Biliart Church at 9:45 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to meet directly at the church. In lieu of flowers donations in William’s memory can be made to a favorite charity of your choice.
