Manuel "Joe" Henriques

Fairhaven - Manuel “Joe” Henriques, age 81, formerly of Acushnet died December 4, at Our Lady's Haven in Fairhaven. He was the beloved husband of the late Izaura (Santos) Henriques. Mr. Henriques is survived by his brother Raul Henriques of Dartmouth, his special companion Rosalyn Sisson of Fairhaven and nieces and nephews.
Mr. Henriques was the brother of the late John Henriques, the late Nick Henriques and the late Antone Aguiar.
Mr. Henriques was born in Dartmouth, son of the late Adelaide (Rebeiro) Henriques and the late Serafim Henriques. He worked as a maintenance man at the New Bedford Vocational High School from where he retired in 1998. He was also a member of the AARP Association.
Manuel will have a graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited at the Pine Grove Cemetery in New Bedford on Friday at 1P.M. Arrangements are by the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford.
